To be able to apply for admission into the polytechnic, students have to fulfill the set of eligibility criteria given below:

• He/she must have cleared their 10^th class examinations from a re owned board (ICSE, CBSE, UP).
• Students must have studied maths, physics, and chemistry (PCM) subjects compulsorily at the qualifying level.
• Students having cleared an exam which is equivalent to the 10^th class of a standard board are also eligible to take admission for the polytechnic in Hi- Tech Institute of Engineering & Technology (HIET- Polytechnic).
