RKGI Technology and Management- MBA (Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology & Management), Ghaziabad was acknowledged in 2000. The college is founded by Late Raj Kumar Goel. RKGI Technology & Management- MBA is a private college which is affiliated by Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. RKGI Technology & Management- MBA institute is renowned by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), governing bodies, and Council of India (PCI). The whole institute spreads over 1000 acres and provides facilities like hostel, sports, library, canteen, well furnished computer labs, ATM’s, classroom, auditorium, conference hall, medical room, gym, language lab as well as a big ground for all sports activities.

From the session 2016-17 the college has been converted from Only Women Education to Co-ed Institute namely RKGITM (Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology & Management). This big step is taken in consideration of gender equality and globalization. RKGITM is very well known for its business management as it is a private institute hence the admission is entirely based on merit system which is established by State Entrance Examination of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. This examination is widely popular as UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam) and online counseling. Remaining seats are fulfilled as per the norms of State Government, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

• If the student is applying directly for any of the courses offered by the institute, they would have to undergo an entrance written examination followed by group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI) at HIET College. The entrance examination dates are duly notified in all national dailies or may be enquired about from the college. The examination comprises of questions based on critical reasoning, oral ability, and general awareness (GA).
• If the student has qualified MAT, CAT, or GMAT (For MBA only), or SEE-UPTU (For MCA, B.Tech), they would be exempted from the written examination. However, they would have to appear for the personal interview (PI) and group discussion (GD) on the given date. The student has to present the test score card.
• Admission is made on the basis of the final merit list put up by the institute on the recommendation of the selection board. The selection board assesses the students taking into account of their presentation in the entrance examination and interview, work experience (If any), past scholastic career, maturity and intelligence, and appropriateness for the particular program.
